I've tried 4 other baby carriers and this by far is the most comfortable for both me and my baby. The other carriers were so structured that my daughter would seem very fussy and they would put too much pressure around her legs and bottom. The leg holes on this stretch nicely for her and with the mesh knit fabrics she can shift her body safely as the fabric offers a little bit of stretch. This is nice because it sort of mimics a wrap in that way, but feels safer and baby can breathe. The padding on the shoulders and around the waist feels great and the product is light overall compared to some of the others. My huge cell phone fits into the front pocket and I keep my credit cards in the side pocket when we go out for our walks through the city. I can even fit an extra diaper and one of the small wipes packs/washcloth in the front pocket so if we do lunches / coffee in the neighborhood I don't even have to carry a diaper bag around! Very convenient needless to say. The Love carrier also packs in my suitcase much better than the more structured ones so when we travel with LO it will not take up so much luggage space. I've left my other carriers at home because they are overly bulky, but traveling is really when you need them! Since the material is a sturdy mesh knit it will be more breathable on baby's body and our shoulders, thank goodness. Hubby is a pretty built guy and with the extra-long straps he can also wear this one well (plus it's not like too-feminine looking carrier he says so he'll totally wear it when he needs to). Bottom line this is the most comfortable baby carrier and the stretch fabric materials and large/secret pockets are perfect for on the go mamas (and papas). I highly recommend for anyone who likes the buckled-in safety of a baby carrier but the closeness and comfort of a baby wrap, and anyone who wants to be out and about with minimal baggage. I would just like to see an add-on like a warm coverall from Contours, but we did just get one of those snap on carrier hoodies that work on this design. For these colder weather walks when using a hoodie I keep my cell phone on a bungee that I can clip around the carrier buckle so I can be camera crazy per usual. Highly recommend the Contours Love to other Moms and Dads!!I was on the fence about getting a baby carrier, mainly because I was afraid that it will be too hard to use (especially for my husband). I'm glad that I picked this one because we were able to figure it out right out of the box with limited instruction. The no-back buckle design is definitely a plus and the side buckles are very easy to reach and adjust. I especially appreciate the softness of the shoulder straps which makes it very comfortable to wear. The waist belt is pretty long and nicely padded so it feels nice and well supported in your lower back. The first time we used it our baby falls asleep in it almost immediately, I take that as a thumbs up from baby! Also, our baby boy has pretty chubby legs and he prefers to kick his legs out (although we tried the recommended frog position), there is plenty of legroom with additional adjustment.We started using the carrier when my boy is about 12 weeks, I'm pretty petite and my husband is an XL, both of us find the carrier a good fit and there is no strange pressure on our back and shoulders when carrying the baby for a longer period of time. It's currently winter so we've been using the carrier primarily around our house when I'm doing house chores or just walking around, the baby seems to enjoy being carried around a lot, and we enjoy the snuggle time as well. Can't wait until spring when we can bring the baby out and be able to face him out and enjoy seeing the world!This is a great infant carrier. I am a nanny and I use this on a daily basis. I purchased this carrier because it has the buckles on the side. It is so easy to use by myself. I don't have to try to reach behind me to fasten the buckles. Just be careful not to trip on it since this one goes up and over your head it is long and will be on the ground while placing the child. And if using it outdoors be careful it is not dangling in a puddle which I have done while getting the child out of the car. But it is so easy to wash and fries overnight. I just put it in a large laundry bag and hang it up to dry. Would highly recommend.It does its job but the one time I put my baby with his legs hanging, his left one got little clots. It went away and he's ok but will be putting him with something in a place of a seat under his bottom. Other than that, it is sturdy and good quality. And loved the fat that you can wash it. I let it air dry. The front pocket is big and convenient.Update on 05 june 2021: the photo above shows how my baby's legs look after use. I put something his bottom to support him but still this happened ??I LOVE this carrier so much! I have two different carriers and I have found that the Contours carrier is more comfortable for me and my son. It has a breathable texture so he doesn't get overheated easily, is easy to put on, and isn't restrictive! I highly recommend this carrier - I use it every single day during those witching hours when my son just won't let me put him down!Tried several carriers and this was the only one that I am comfortable putting on by myself. I cannot get used to buckles in the back with other carriers! It’s super comfortable and my husband and I can both use it (we are very different sizes). Very happy with this purchase!this is a lightweight carrier with a skin to skin contact, It doesn’t need any inserts to carry the baby. However my baby hated it and cried every single time I used, until I discovered that around the head support has a hard point (it feels like a wire metal) where all the fabric comes together, that was constantly pricking my babies head. I couldn’t fixed unless I make a hole in the fabric, so I ended returning it. along with that there is not really head support for a small babyThe carrier has nice back support and is pretty easy to get the baby into -- I find it much easier than the wraps. My 2-mo old baby also likes this carrier more than a wrap. Overall, we are very satisfied with the quality and comfort of this product.
